Between now and 5 p.m. Friday, April 10, enter a comment on this post. In your comment, briefly introduce yourself: your full name, your job (currently or the one you’d like in the future), your program in school, and anything else you would like your instructor and classmates to know about you. See the instructions on the right side of the screen if you are new to blogging.

For this week only, you will receive five points for participation. The goal is to be sure you are registered and able to participate on this blog before the formal blogging assignments begin in Week 2 (April 13 through 17). Once the formal assignments begin, you will be able to earn up to 10 points depending on the quality of your response. Hello, I'm Frank Paulich, I attend Erica's Tuesday night writing class. This is my third semester at Globe in the Business Administration program. It will take a few years to complete the program because I work 40+ hours a week and only take one night class at a time. I have been with my current employer for 19 years and my family and I live just outside Eau Claire.

Hello, my name is Brandon Baker, this is my second quarter at Globe University, and so far it has been an enjoyable experience. I am studying for my Associate in Applied Science Degree for Business Administration and so far everything is going better than I had hoped.

I am a 2005 graduate of Ladysmith High School in Ladysmith, WI and right after I continued my education in the Parks and Recreation Program at Vermilion Community College in Ely, MN. After studying a semester there, I moved out to Durango, Colorado to work as an outfitter for guiding hunters out in the mountains on horseback. After 2 years of that, I decided to move a little closer to home and started working at Cabela's in Rogers, MN as a Product Manager for Archery and Camping. I am now back here in Wisconsin planning on finishing my education and start my career as a small business owner.

Hello everyone. My name is Linda Myhre. I was born and raised in a small rural community in west central Wisconsin where I still reside with my husband of almost 20 years and 2 busy boys, ages 11 and 13.

I am currently employed as a bookkeeper at a small local lumber company. I am in my first quarter at Globe to obtain my associate accounting degree to expand upon my accounting knowledge and hope to obtain a more fulfilling career in the field.

I wish all of you the best of luck in whatever degree you are obtaining and hope to get to know some of you over time.

Hi my name is Cindy Vang. I do have a middle name but I prefer not to share. I have been living in Eau Claire for about 20 years now, since I was born and raised here. I am currently in the health care management program and this is my first quarter at Globe University. I work at a Dairy Queen by my house and am a supervisor. I did attend the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire for a year and a half, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to major in. I then heard the commercial for Globe University and immediately applied. As for now, the one thing I like about Globe University, is that has only one building, compared to the university I went to before.

Hello, my name is Rita Cheatham. I live in Menomonie with my husband Al, our two sons, Mike and Jason, and Chubby, (our dog). I am one of the first students who was enrolled at Globe University in Eau Claire, last July. This is one of the best decisions that I have made for myself, and my future. The faculty and the teachers, make coming here worth every moment of your time. I can't saw enough about how great it is to be able to attend such an exciting campus. I will be here for a while yet, because I want to earn my master's degree in the Health Care Management Program before I build my own retirement home, someday.

Hi everyone, my name is Fue Lee; I'm 28 years old, married to a beautiful wife and have 2 wonderful kids. I am going towards a B.S. in Business Administration and this is my second quarter at Globe University. I attended UWEC eight years earlier but dropped out because that type of environment had too many distractions and didn’t fit my learning style. Currently I am unemployed but am a full time student and father. I love everything having to do with the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, canoeing, and hiking. I also enjoy playing sports such as tennis, football, soccer, and volleyball.

Hi! My name is Beth and I am in Erica's Tuesday night writing class. By the time I get to her class, I am very tired as I work all day and then have classes from 3:45 p.m. until 9:10 p.m. This is my third quarter at Globe in the Business Administration program. I currently work for United Health Group as a claims processor and I get to telecommute, which helps me with time management. I am a classically trained musician, huge video game nerd, and will read anything that is available. I just recently finished "1984" for about the 50 time and it finally ripped in half.
If there is anything else you would like to know about me, please ask! I am very open.
